How often will you come by my house?
Normally we pick up and deliver twice a week.
What areas do Save A Step Dry Cleaners service?
We serve the Charlotte Uptown area, as well as the South East Charlotte area. Please contact us if you have any questions.
What days do you come by my house?
We serve some neighborhoods on Mondays and Thursdays, and others on Tuesdays and Fridays. When you sign up, we’ll tell you on which days your area is being served.
How do I get my Save A Step Dry Cleaners bag?
On the first order the customer will provide their own bag (any sort will do)…then when we return the cleaned clothes, we will provide the new customer with a Save A Step Dry Cleaners bag.
When & where do I put my dirty clothes outside?
We ask that you hang your Save A Step Dry Cleaners bag of clothes from your front door by 8:00 AM. We will provide the Save A Step Dry Cleaners bag.
Will my Save A Step Dry Cleaners laundry bag be OK if it's raining?
The laundry bags are water resistant, but it’s ALWAYS a good idea to hang them up so your clothes don’t sit in a puddle! If you wish, you can put your clothes in a sealed plastic bag, then put them in your Save A Step Dry Cleaners bag for your driver to recognize.
Do I need to call & arrange a pick up?
Not at all! Your driver follows a set route twice a week and knows which houses to check for a pick up.
What time will my driver come by?
Normally, your driver will arrive between 8 AM and 5 PM. We can’t specify an exact time, but if he seems later than usual, CALL US and we’ll advise you what to do.
What if I don't need a pick up today?
That’s OK…we’ll check next time.
Where will you hang my clean clothes?
Most customers have us hang them on or near the front door, but if you have another preference, just indicate that on your sign-up sheet or call and tell us.
What if I don't have a place for Save A Step Dry Cleaners to hang my clean clothes?
If it’s raining (or threatening to rain) and your driver is concerned that your clothes will get wet, he will hold them until your next delivery day. If you need them sooner, just call us!
What if there is a problem with my clothing when I get it back?
Call or email our customer service department.
What happens if my scheduled pick up/delivery falls on a holiday?
We will notify customers, in advance, if there are schedule changes due to holidays.
How do I pay my bill?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Of course, all credit card information is kept strictly confidential.
How am I billed?
We will charge your credit card on file at the 1st of the month for the previous month’s service. As soon as we charge your credit card, we will send a copy of your statement to you. If you ever have any questions, feel free to contact us.
